Hello, fellow gamers!
Now that Vassal Con is (almost) a wrap, I wanted to share some thoughts. First of all, Jason and I had a blast playing in and running events, and we would like to continue to do so. However, it's clear that this event is too much for two people to handle on their own. Just as Gen Con takes a team of people, including organizers and GMs, so should Vassal Con.
Therefore, for next year, if you enjoyed Vassal Con, I'd like you to think about what you can do to help. The most urgent need is for people to run events, but I'm sure there are other ways to help, as well. And yes, I know some people did reach out with offers to help this year, and I thank them. For next year, we will definitely be looking to be more collaborative and delegate more.
Thank you so much to everyone who participated this year. We loved playing with you. You are the reason we do this. We want to continue. We just need a bit of help.

Thanks so much, Laura and Jason. VassalCon was really enjoyable and really well organized. I will definitely offer to at least run an event next year; I'm the TO for NZCon this year, so that'll be good practice.

I offered to help this year and I'd definitely be happy to help next year. If you need someone to run some events, I'd be happy to do that.

Thanks to everyone who's responded on this thread and Facebook. We really appreciate the willingness of the community to step up and help, and it reinforces that this is an event that's important to the community.
If you volunteered to help, we will reach out sometime next summer to start planning events.

Yeah, I was surprised you took it on yourselves.
Still, you guys made it all look easy and Vassalcon was fantastic.

Laura and Jason deserve major props for all the hard work they do for this community! Thanks for helping VassalCon become a reality again this year and for making things run smoothly. the events were really fun!
