I'm happy with round robin too. I'd rather play vs everyone once than vs some people multiple times.
The Swiss format works great for tournaments where you have a specific number of rounds (ie, the minimum # of rounds needed to find one undefeated player), but if you go beyond that round, it always gets wonky really quick.

thanks for the feedback guys! with more than half the people in favor of round robin then (not counting myself), we'll go ahead with that. I have all the pairings calculated using the same tournament program i used last time. The list is set and saved to my desktop and it will not be changed at all unless someone drops from the tournament and i have to replace a name with a Bye.....hopefully that doesn't happen again this tournament. Anyways, may the force be with you and lets have some fun rolling dice!
