Hi All,
I'm new to BlooMilk, generally look and post things on BGG.
I'm running SWM at a local Con in a couple months. Not tournament and it will probably be a drop-in set up with several maps and pre-made squads for players to choose from. 100-120 points.
I don't plan on using any custom figures and since there's a good chance people will be new playing this, I'm looking for ideas to make them go quick and easy and want to create fun, thematic squads as opposed to meta. But I'm searching for ideas and probably more importantly what to avoid that isn't fun and could bog down the game.
Without listing everything I have; I've got good helping of Rebels, Imperials, Vong, Fringe, and New Republic named figures; not so much Sith, Mandalorian, or Old Republic.

Dayton Ohio, it's called Daycon. Runs April 12th and 13th. I have my game scheduled for Saturday the 13th.
