Quick question and I'm guessing the answer is pretty simple but just to double check if I brutal strike and hit Tulak does he get to use Soresu Style Mastery. I think no because the card said that respond to attacks not damage but I just wanna be sure. This also means no sith reflexes I believe.

I belive that he would get to use SSM because it is when he is hit by an attack, so he is not stop your attack. I think...

IMHO Brutal Strike should cancel out SSM, but I'm biased because I just hate Tulak Hord so... (Edit: There's a little button below this post marked "blog", very important to press that...)

I'm not pressing that link.
The answer to your question is that Brutal Strike stops the attacked character from using Soresu Style Mastery, as well as any other abilities that prevent or reduce damage (such as Parry or Beskar'gam), or any abilities that let them do something to respond (such as Lightsaber Riposte or Djem So Style).

It also prevents Tulak from using Sith Reflexes.

How about Overwhelming Force 2? Card text reads: "This character's attacks can't be prevented or redirected this turn, and special abilities that trigger as a result of being hit by an attack are suppressed. Ignore bonuses to Defense when determining whether the attack hit"

no, its because I CAN'T BEAT HIM and that makes him bad. If I'm the one playing Hord than I think he is an excellent individual.
