Was setting up a game on the Endor Shield Generator map and noticed the tree area is outlined in brown, I could find nothing in the rule books or online about what a brown outline meant... So does it mean anything or...?

It's essentially a wall. On some maps the red lines look more brown, or even orange.

It could just be marking the "Concealment" areas that the included scenario book talks about, but if so, would it have killed them to add a line that said "The area within the brown outlines" or something to that effect? xD It says it counts as difficult terrain, but then there is actual difficult terrain within those lines, so maybe that is the idea... Not sure.
