 I don't know how it works but when I look at some pieces it says stuff about combined fire

When you target an enemy with an attack from a character without Melee Attack (a shooter), you can choose to "combine fire." You do this by activating another shooter on your squad who also has line of sight to the same enemy. When you choose to combine fire, it typically grants a +4 bonus to the attack for each character you activate (in addition to the attacker).

One of my favorite tactics to increase a big damage shooter's odds in hitting.
You can have more than one shooter combine fire.
Lets low Attack shooters be more useful.
(Looking at you Battle Droid🤖💩)
