I’ve always played that you can, because you can use it on a riposte or a Djem So, but the 2007 rulebook I have states “An Attack of Opportunity is a single attack, even characters with special abilities that allow them to make additional attacks can only make one attack of opportunity”

So no twin? What if you get a Flurry Critical on an Attack of Opportunity?

Twin always triggers on an attack.

The language in the book is referring to abilities that trigger on the character's turn (like Double).

If you have Flurry and you roll a crit on an attack of opportunity, the Flurry will trigger, so you'd get another attack in that (rare) circumstance.

And if you had both Twin Attack and Flurry, those AoOs could get crazy if you happen to roll a crit on an AoO.
--AoO: hit, crit (triggers flurry)
--Flurry: hit, hit

Yeah, it's risky to give up an AoO to someone with Twin Attack...and if they have Flurry, you'd better have some luck saved up.

Cool, thanks for the answer. I think it does make sense that way.
