so now that vset 27 is out, i noticed that allof the other ones (except vset 1) have main and sub versions. is the newly released set the main, sub, or the only one?

There is no subset for v27. v27 and v28 are 18 cards each and will be printed together at the usual time around GenCon. This new format was announced by Randy a few months ago.
