--" 1's Dont Scare Me, 1.0"-- Mandalore Da Beast's Comment: Like it says, throw a 1 at it if you want, i dont care. Im getting lots of evade, shields 2, Panaka Swap, Tarpals CE and greater mobile. Fixer with 3 uggie demos and lobot provide ample door control. the antarian ranger may not get the synergy, but i have faith in his abilty. if i hit reserves, the amanin will Wheel out 18 squares and put either my sev or scorch out their in exchange of the swap. shields and evades are key to me. http://www.bloomilk.com/squads/View.aspx?ID=5769233 Captain Rex 30 Republic Commando Training Sergeant 27 Lobot 23 Captain Panaka 20 Bith Black Sun Vigo 20 Captain Tarpals 19 Republic Commando - Boss 16 Republic Commando - Fixer 16 Republic Commando - Scorch 16 Republic Commando - Sev 12 Antarian Ranger 8 Mas Amedda 9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3 Preferred Reinforcements: (Lobot) 13 Amanin Scout (Lobot) 7 Chadra-Fan Pickpocket (249pts. 17 activations)

I've always liked the Commandos, especially since the Sergeant came out. I think Tarpals is a lot of points to spend on just one Scorch. (unless you are playing on the train station map, the Uggies won't really benefit) It's cool being able to move up to a door, blow it open and then lob 'nades through the hole. I'd probably work another Scorch in, or maybe just drop Tarpals for a Human Bodyguard (for the Sergeant or Lobot) and R2-AM, or something else...

Doombot is absolutely necessary in a Republic build. Get him in here, somehow, some way.

After reading the title of the thread, I was really expecting to see a squad where you had figured out how to use a bunch of Death Watch Raiders.

Interesting. I might suggest dumping Tarpals, as his CE only affects the Scorch (as noted previously by Swinefeld), you could pick up another Scorch to make up the loss of double Grenades 30...or better pick up another Sev for the Accurate. Too bad you can't fit Yoda CS in there...reroll those Shields and Evade saves. :)
