--Terrible Trio--
71 Lord Vader
62 Boba Fett, Bounty Hunter
17 Storm Commando

(150pts. 3 activations)

I created this for tonight's casual night at my LGS. The theme was 150pt Terrible Trio - 3 characters to equal exactly 150 and faction specific. Let me know what you think.

this one beat me the other day:

GM yoda 55
capt rex 33
boba, bh 62

i actually was a really close game. i thought i was going to get really owned. here is what i rolled with:

capt rex 33
palpatine SL 62
vader scourge 55

his rex and boba took out my vader and palpatine in the first phase of battle, while my rex finished his rex and boba by mid-point (my rex was on fire). the battle came down to a 10hp yoda vs. a 40hp rex and i lost initiative.

Triple Threat (I like that name) seems like a fun idea, and it's a little easier to make since you can use 3 minis instead of just 2 like in dynamic duo. Everyone of the Triple Threat squads seemed pretty good on this post.

What do you think of this one?:

here is another Sith one that should be pretty fierce to go against.

--Exars Terrible Trio--
84 Exar Kun
66 Rancor x2

I've never been shy to use small squads. I've played this one several times, sometimes with success.

--The Juice is Worth the Squeeze--
56 Darth Talon
49 Darth Malak, Dark Lord of the Sith
45 Zam Wesell

At my store's league, the Terrible Trio and Dynamic Duo usually have to be Uniques only.

Here's two of mine:

61 Darth Sidious, Dark Lord of the Sith
48 Darth Tyranus
41 Aurra Sing, Jedi Hunter

give Aurra the duelist to help when she is based

For an all melee version - sub Proxy for Aurra, mimic Tyranus and give him the duelist

Or can give Sidious the duelist in either one since he has renewal = more lightning

Here is a revan one that looks pretty vicious

http://www.bloomilk.com/squads/View.aspx?ID=58948
--Revan Trio--
88 Darth Revan
52 Felucian Warrior on Rancor
10 Treadwell Droid

(150pts. 3 activations)

Treadwell Droid is from GaW and provides door control. Revan boosts the rancor with +4 attack and uses intuition to allow it to get within range of someone and get all three attacks off.

If you are playing Melee only, then Roan Fel is the way to go- Triple for 30, plus Vader with Jedi Hunter. And you gotta believe I pull off a Cortosis EVERY time I use that guy. Nothing funnier than "Loda" Suddenly unable to do damage.

--Terrible Trio-Reeves--
57 Emperor Roan Fel
55 Darth Vader, Scourge of the Jedi
33 Antares Draco

Agreed, if you are playing Melee only this looks to be the winner
