if someone hits GMLS with melee
can he:
Djem so and then Lightsaber defence
or
lightsaber defence and then Djem so
or
only one or the other...
and
say Leia JK is there and he rolls the worst rolls ever, how many saves would he get?
say:
he fails first save, Leia gives freebie and he fails that, Luke spends a FP then fails that, Leia gives another freebie and he fails that, Luke spends second FP and fails that, Leia gives another freebie.
is that right or is that just silly?

Both abilities may be used in any order. Remember that while Lightsaber Defence, Evade, and the like negate the damage of the attack, they do not change the fat that the attack has hit. Quote: say Leia JK is there and he rolls the worst rolls ever, how many saves would he get?
2, with 3 rolls each (initial save, Leia's CE, fp to reroll).

So, my GMLS gets hit, he can Djem so save (because he has taken damage), and then after he uses Djem, he can then LS defense? or vice versa?

best to defence first then so you don't take the damage.

Ok... let me if i have this right. vader hits my GMLS adjacently, i make my LS defense save. i then make my Djem so save because i got hit initially. if im wrong, can someone give the exact order in the case that i can make this work, if at all? thanks.

That is correct. With Leia and Djem So Style Mastery (DSSM): Get Hit: Make DSSM Save (fail) Leia CE Re-roll (fail) Force Point Re-roll (fail) Force Point (MotF2) Reroll That's it. You are making one save (a single DSSM Save) and you can only use Leia's CE once.

what if it was like this:
make LS Def save (fail) Leia CE re-roll (fail) use FP re-roll make DDSM save (fail) Leia CE re-roll (fail) use FP re-roll
surely you could use Leia's CE twice since it's 2 different abilities that you failed.

yes you could use leia's CE for each ability, but you have him spending 3 fps in one turn in that example (one for LS defense and 2 for rerolls), you would only be able to get 1 fprr.

Alright, here's how the interaction with Djem So will go between Vader (let's assume this version doesn't have Djem So for simplicity sake) verses GML with Leia Skywalker, Jedi Knight within 6 of GML.
-Vader attacks GML and hits with a melee attack.
-GML now has several options: A) Roll his Djem So first and then spend a FP for Lightsaber Defense. B) Spend a FP for Lightsaber Defense and then roll for Djem So. C) Roll for Djem So and not use Lightsaber Defense
Now, let's say you decide to roll for Djem So first and fail. Leia is nearby to allow a free re-roll, which GML successfully makes afterwards.
-Since GML made his Djem So save, he gets to attack Vader with Twin and will more than likely hit both times inflicting 50 damage on him.
-Now you decide to let the hit go through and take 20 damage.
-Vader now swings again and hits.
-You then decide to use a FP to use Lightsaber Defense and fail. Now Leia's CE kicks in, but you still fail. You then decide to use a 2nd FP to re-roll the save and STILL fail. After failing the FP re-roll, you cannot use Leia's CE again because it is still the same save you are resolving. Leia's CE allows you to re-roll a save ONCE; and a FP re-roll is not a save itself (it's just allowing you to discard the previous roll you made to make a replacement roll).
-So now GML rolls for his Djem So save (he must make the Djem So save, NOT optional; but the attack it generates IS optional) and fails. Since this is a separate save from the Lightsaber Defense, Leia's CE can be applied. So GML gets his free re-roll and makes it.
-GML now does his Twin Attack against Vader and, once again, will probably hit both times.
So, to sum it up:
Vader hit GML twice for 40 damage total. GML hit Vader back 4 times inflicting 100 damage while spending 2 FPs.
Sincerely, Jester007

Vader now has four options:
1) Quickly write a will (Save 11) 2) Tell Luke he was right and that there is some good in him 3) Go to the magical bridge with Charlie 4) Stop Luke mid-swing and ask him to re-explain all the above
Lets say that Vader chooses 3...
