I spent 30 bucks on various singles I wanted. Other than that I haven't touched the set. I don't play rebels and most of the imperials weren't too impressive. It just wasn't a set I wanted.

I gave away 5 Mice Droids to friends. Sorry, I am all out of free mice... The ones I have left I will use with the new Rodian Trader to heal up my Mandos... The mice and now the trader are great for my faction!

Why not just buy the Uncommon set for $15, you'll get a mouse and a Twilek Vigo that are worth keeping and I'm sure you can trade or sell off the Imperial Shock Trooper and 181 Pilots. The other 8 minis could help a new player out or use them as throw ins on trades.

That is gonna be fun so much fun.

I saw that. It's getting kind of out of hand, if you ask me.

Isn't it DCI legal to use a custom mini as long as you have an original stat card?
I thought I read in the forums a few months ago of someone cutting one mouse off the base and putting on a scrap medium base. Not entirely pretty, but would it be a legal way to double your mouse inventory?

You'll end up doing some hard DCI time for that crime!

It is legal to change what ever the paint job you want on the mini, but not in a way you change the sculpt entirely (like modifying the sculpt with a foreign object such as a lightsaber on a Republic Commando, etc)

isn't it legal to cut off ONE of the mouse droids on the base and put on another base, as long as it's small, and you can use it?

Technically it's "legal" at the moment if you read the floor rules in a certain legalistic way (basically ignoring any intent in the Universal floor rules that talks about proxy cards and assume it means literally cards only). Then you combine that with the allowance of the SWMs floor rules that lets a player use only one card for multiples of the same figure and bam, you can violate the intent of the rules.
However, I wouldn't start cutting up your mice for DCI play just yet. That loop hole will likely be filled in the next update. WotC doesn't want you to make your own minis. That's the intent of the proxy rule. However it was written more with card games in mind. Further, the one card for multiple minis rule was written in as a benefit to tournament players to allow you to not have to lug around unneeded cards and find space for them on the table every game (Imagine running an AA swarm with 25 activations and having to have a card out for all 25 pieces). The intent was never to allow making your own figures, however. So while it is technically legal right at the moment, I would be willing to bet it won't be in just over 3 months from now :)
