Say you are playing a multi-faction game and you have Luke Skywalker, Force Spirit and Grand Admiral Thrawn in your squad. Wouldn't Luke become invincible while within Ysalamiri range? As long as your opponent doesn't kill the character who is being helped by Luke, you can't kill Luke, right? You'd need to spend a FP, and while he is within 6 of GAT he gets Force Immunity. Is this right? Can this be?!?

In game semantics, it sounds like it would work. However, just toast Thrawn and then Luke Spirit can be defeated. (or toast the character that is Light Spirit'd)
However, keep in mind that the game designers did not design those characters to work in the same squad. (something about messing with the space time continuum)

I know. I just thought it was stragne. Even more so that if the character is in the bubble as well, he still benefits from FR 1.

It still works, since Light Spirit is technically not a Force Power.
And BTW, Force Renewal IS a force power and is blocked by Ysalamiri.

And BTW, Force Renewal IS a force power and is blocked by Ysalamiri. force renewal can still be used in the bubble. ysalamiri does 2 things. first it prevents spending of force points and second grants force immunity (within 6 of course). force renewal does not require spending of force points to use so the first part has no effect, and as for force immunity, the glossary entry is as follows: Quote:Other characters cannot spend Force points to affect this character, to reroll attacks against it, or to respond to its attacks and abilities. This character does not count for purposes of Force powers that affect multiple characters, such as Force Lightning or Shockwave--select a different character instead. force immunity only prevents force powers from characters other than the character with force immunity, so force renewal would still work as it is your own power.

That is incorrect. Ysalimari only prevents the spending of force points and grants Force Immunity, it does not prevent force powers from working altogether.
