Im not exactly sure how straft attack works (move 24 squares and attack everyone you move adjacent too?), but would it be worth it to buy 2 of these for an imp squad? Thanks in advance :D

Perhaps, i would like to try it with Thrawn (..). +9 for 30 DMG on multiple targets with the option to win Ini (95%) for a secound strafe ... 21 cost seems fair. :)

You could also put in Jolee Bindo to give them a +11 or someone else who gives attack bounuses

Sorry to say, the Scout on Speeder's Accelerate ability does not interact with Strafe attack. The piece can do this:

Move 24 squares without making attacking using Accelerate

Move 12 squares (optionally making Strafe attacks)

Move 6 squares and attack (and optionally Strafe as it moves)
Attack and move 6 squares (and optionally Strafe as it moves)

They are rather expensive ($) considering that limitation, but are one of the cooler pieces from Rebel Storm. They could still be dangerous if you do the Mithrawn swap idea with two of them.

Of course, if you are playing casual you could just use a house rule that they can move 24 and strafe, but I doubt your opponents will agree to it Wink

everybody is always quick to jump to thrawn, if the characters name has trooper in it, you may think of using Admiral Piett who grants opportunist. you may also think of using the higher point thrawn just to boost the base atk/def and have swapping purposes. another suggestion is to have jerjerod to grant +4 to combinig fire, and maybe having some low fodder like peace brigade to combine fire to help boost you're atk.

Although it isn't all about the speeder bikes using Thrawn (and Mas) to swap a bike for a Sentinel is seen by some as a good move.

That would indeed be a good move.

yeah, that sentinal swap is no joke, but if you can keep good door control, you can kill of a sentinal before it even gets the change to attack, leaving the swoop bike in the back saying..."Gee, what do I do?" lol Sorry to get off topic, but I saw that can had to comment on it! ThumbsUp
