Great squad!  Mind if I use it one of these days? I've never considered using the ARF trooper before I saw your squad. I totally forgot about Bacara's CE.

The squads header originally was "Are you serious? you beat me with this!?" but it was too long.
everytime i play this squad, people look at me like Im crazy for even trying to win, and when they lose, the look on their face is priceless, because i dont play it the way most would think its played.
still fun, and makes you work hard for the win.

I do have one thing to say though, an opinion about a squad, whether if it's praises or harsh criticisms leading to potential rudeness, it's still an opinion to be valued. I do not believe Engineer would criticize you as a squad constructor, etc, afterall it is what he feels about your squad and again, it isn't a personal attack. But I do have to say though, thoughtful suggestions in squad comments are there to encourage help/advice, suggestion for that squad, rather than praises and/or harsh criticisms

i think we should make a list of people who cant comment on squads. engineer would top that list, along w/ evryone else who leaves a one rating, w/ no reason.

Why is 1 ratings an issue? Shouldn't you be happy with the build rather than taking the rating serious? So you would prefer praises on your squad than helpful suggestion to improve that squad... and if it happens that an improvement on a squad is an insult or a criticism to you, why would you be outraged by this issue and instead just privatize your squad and be done with?

well, since we are back on the topic, I dont mind critisism, as long as its not negative and inflammatory. we put squads on here, and whether we like it or not, we wont always like the advice or crits that are given, but if its done respectively, then theres no harm and no foul.
it does not change the fact that his comments were disrespectful, on 2 different forums too, mind you.
So with that said, lets just forget the whole thing and act like it never happened, not bringing it up anymore.

Actually, I would say that a comment of "Is this squad a joke?" would be completely appropriate here. It's not a personal attack, it's simply a question. The squad has 6 pieces that can actually do some damage. 18 activations in a 200 point squad isn't nearly enough to make efficient use of Yularen's CE, especially if you end up against a Tempo control squad.
Sevs and ARF Troopers will rarely hit big opponents, even with the Gree and Yularen boosts. And then, they only have 1 attack each. In a best case scenario, this squad can only do roughly 270 damage in a round, and that's if ALL attacks hit, and if you get all of your Cunning/Opportunist/Deadeye/etc. bonuses. This squad might win with your local group, but it would never survive in many play areas.
On the somewhat tangent note...
Engineer is a long-standing player, an extremely SKILLED player at that, and to suggest that he should not be allowed to comment on squads shows a level of ignorance that is laughable, IMO. Just because someone leaves harsh criticisms doesn't mean they should be ignored.
And in that same manner....Engineer's responses in this thread had much less 'tone' than Mandalore's did, and yet Engineer is the one chastised? Disappointing. :(

Engineer is allowed to comment on squads, no one says he cannot.
The context that was left before is "it's a joke"... rather than "Is this squad a joke?," written it in a way open for different interpretations of the meaning than the passive behavior from the individual. If it were the phrase that was described by Lobostele, I would see no problem where a "squad" is being questioned by criticism, rather than the double-edged sword. But to be honest, I wanted to see squad comments that actually "help" improve one's own squad.... but are criticisms and praises really that necessary? It may be a complete fault of my own, but the call is made when someone had a problem with Engineer's post and I have to utilize my best judgment to make the call at the time.
But if you think about it, if I am a new player and never been to the boards and the comment that was left to my squad "It's a joke".... I would felt negative about that comment and it reflects my view of the person and the general view about the boards (even if that person doesn't mean it, but in a way he/she interpreted about it), but it goes to show you how people should respond with respect of the builder and give them advice what are goods, but weaknesses on the squad that needs to address. If people don't show a comment with respect to that builder's squad and just criticize it, I would be chased away from posting anymore squads and comment on the boards.
