So when grenades and missiles special abilities are used, all characters adjacent to the target character are hit with the same amount of damage. Now do those other characters (if any are present) have to attempt a save 11, or does the player roll just one save 11 for the whole effect?

Not quite. As all the characters are affected simultaneously, the acting player can choose the order. He does not need to start with the primary target.

I checked Wiz FAQ's. Where is this info? (also checked the rule book)
DarthJak: you only use d6 for attacks. You seem to use a d10 for saves.
