I love Jar Jar. So I wanted to make a squad that abused his ability as much as possible. What I came up with is this.

55 Yoda
52 Jedi Weapon Master x2
26 Tarfful
18 Jar Jar Binks
18 Gungan Shieldbearer
9 Gamorrean Guard
8 Mas Amedda
7 Aqualish Assassin
6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2
(199pts. 11 activations)

The plan is simple, and works great for my basic playstyle. Which is being faily aggressive. I run Yoda, JWM's, and Jar Jar up together. Try to draw fire with Jar Jar and have the opponent kill themselves with Bombad Gungan. Tarfful is cool and gives the JWM's better chance of hitting. The Gamorrean is because I have never played one before.

Kick it up a notch and go with R2A instead of the Gam. Works right into your aggressive nature. >;)

Yes, you are definatly correct on R2 Astro. Would certainly make it more competetive. Overide opens a lot of options, and flight will give me some more doubles from the JWM's. I'm hoping to give this squad a try tonight. I've heard that Jar Jar & Yoda can be brutal. I have to imagine that that's true. BlooMilk

I think you should definitely bring in something competitive instead of the Gamorrean. Maybe Ponda Baba, a Polis Massa Medic, or a Clone Trooper?

My first Jar Jar squad was with Yoda, Shieldbearer, R2A, IG-88 BH, 2 Ugs. It was vs Revan and some guards. Not the worst squad but I didn't lose a single guy! Jar Jar was insane w/ Yoda CS. R2 just towed IG around for the double Opp.

Also, remember that the Shieldbearer's save is rolled by the opponent. So no double save there.

Make sure to keep Jar Jar up front so that anything without Accurate has to shoot at him.

I would get rid of the extra fluff for an extra Shieldbearer, but maybe that's just me because my opponents always make the saves for them. All in all, it seems like a good squad.

You could do better with R2.

I however would drop Tarrful, he only helps two JWMs and Jar Jar in extreme cases so those points could be better spent. Wicket would accomplish rough the same thing for 18 points cheaper.

I would switch out Gamorrean for a door controller (if no R2 AM then maybe an R7) and tarrful for Wicket and Lando, Dashing Scoundrel to give you a mobile shooter who can reroll evades.
