Ok, this came up the other day in Central PA Scum and Villainy. Well first read this.
Ion Shielding (Can ignore special abilities that affect only nonliving targets.)
So, I was thinking that with this ability, the droid could ignore Droid and gain Evade. It makes sense right? Well please answer yo.

The thing is that Droid is not a SA that affectsNonliving characters.It is a droid. Ion shielding is set up to prevent the character from being effected by abilities like Ion Gun. I hope that helps

Yeah, Droid doesn't affect non-living characters, it is what defines is as a non-living character. You are looking for more complexity than there is.
