sweet! might be kinda hard to play, that's an awesome scenario team. the arrest scene is one of my favorites from episode 3. kinda funny how 3 guys get killed in like 3 swipes from Sidious haha.

He got there when it was only Mace and Sidious left. Because if Anakin was there with the rest, he would have seen how evil Sidious was.

oh...yeah...been a while since I seen that one. I was just thinking on how the squad cost could be upped to 200 even. well not that there is a 13 point Anakin anyway.

I thought it was pretty dumb, to be honest. I know Sidious was powerful and everything, but these guys were supposed to be Jedi Masters and couldn't even parry a single attack. Mace may as well have been there with Younglings. Same thing.

Well It was indeed dumb in the film, but it was better described in the book.

It's certainly a difficult to play squad. I could change Fisto for it's other version, but I thinkt this one is cooler and more playable.

@ adidamps2: Well Anakin wasn't part of the arrest team. Otherwise Senator Palpatine should be in the squad as well. But then we start talking about a 250 pnt squad. Should be about 66 points extra, I think.

Edit: Could switch the fisto's and put in Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Then I gain 28 points. Together with the 13 points left is 41. Minus 37 for Palpie is just 5 points left for 1 mousedroid. Then hope for a lucky roll (20) and get Anakin into play. Let the other Jedi die and Annie and Palpie live. Then I've got the scenario as it should be.

I'd say you should fill out your last 13 points with a Clone of some sort. After all, somebody had to drive them there. I might even say a Senate Guard although I'd imagine they were loyal to the Chancellor even if they don't have Order 66.

When watching it the first time, IMO, I was thinking Sid was using some very powerful dark side powers thinking that was how he was able to defeat them so easily. Being as how Sid was the man! Again just my thought's. Smile

Very nice squad! Glad to see it. ThumbsUp I would suggest since it is a fun one like I like to build, bring it up to 200 with a low level Jedi you could say he was out front guarding a door or something. ThumbsUp Check out my squads when you get the chance. I like building these kind of squads, good times! BigGrin

My squad thread if your interested.

ThumbsUp

Have you realized that the Clone Strike versions of those four Jedi Masters happens to add up to exactly 150 points?

Oh yes, but there is the problem. Did you read the stats of the versions I like to use? They are much better then those versions. I only have one problem and that's 13 points. But I think 4 mousedroids must be it. But I'll watch the scene again and see if there was somebody with them. Thought not though.

Totally no idea! I just like to make themed squads. I think I'll try this one out next week, but I don't know what my opponent will play.

I did look up the stats and can agree that you may be using the better version. The thing is that based on how quickly Sideous cuts them down you probably shouldn't be using the "good" versions of each.

It may just be me but I think the only piece which could represent Sideous in a four on one fight would be Grand Master Luke. If you use the melee heavy 150 point Clone Strike squad against the 115 melee beast GMLS you may actually find a representative fight.

Actually there you have me! then indeed I should use the weaker masters and put in an Anakin Skywalker (in the end he defeats Palpie ofcourse) so from 187 points switch kit fisto versions will give me an additional 28 points. Leaves 41 points: put in an anakin version with 29 cost + r2d2 + one mousedroid. Seven activations: First to die is saesee Tinn, 2nd Koth, 3rd Kit Fisto, then Mace and finally Annie should kill the barve (Palpy) :))))

Great ThumpUp

But with your last remark we can start a new discussion :)

There should come an Imperial Anakin Skywalker with the affinnity to be in a squad with Luke skywalker. No force renewal, Djem So style, 35 cost, a chomped of hand and an abillity which makes him fantastic against sidious/palpy: something like that he can uses palpy/sidious forcepoints even if he is in an opponent's squad. And something with force 5 to do a lot of damage against sith-force users. Okay people let's create this piece ThumbsUp ... and send it to wotc :)

Something like:

[Imperial] Anakin Skywalker, Redeemed Impatient Prophecy 35
Hit Points: 80
Defense: 17
Attack: 7
Damage: 20
Rarity: Very Rare

Special Abilities
Unique
Melee Attack (Can attack only adjacent enemies)
Double Attack

Dark Armor (Whenever this character takes damage, he reduces the damage dealt by 10 with a save of 11. Attacks with lightsabers ignore this special ability.)

Djem So Style (Whenever this character is hit by a melee attack, make a save of 11. On a success, this character can make an immediate attack against that attacker.)

Melee Reach 3 (When attacking, this character treats enemies up to 3 squares away as adjacent)

Affinity (May be in a squad your squad with a character whose name contains Luke Skywalker regardless of faction)

Hand of the empire: (This character can spend his own Force points once per turn and spend Force points from a character whose name contains Palpatine once per turn, regardless of faction)

Force Powers
Force 2

Lightsaber Defense (Force 1: When hit by an attack, this character takes no damage with a save of 11)

Lightsaber Throw 3 (Force 3, replaces turn: Choose 1 enemy within line of sight, ignoring cover. Make an attack against the chosen enemy and against each character adjacent to that enemy.)

Force Sacrifice (Force 5: Target must be a force user adjacent to Anakin skywalker; Target is defeated; Target may prevent this with a save of 16, by a succes target has half of his lifepoints left; Anakins Lifepoints are depleted.)

After redeeming himself he became one with the Force

That will do it voor Darth Vader, RIP;)
