hey y'all

thought of this not 5 mins ago i think its a relaly cool idea but lmk what you guys think:

ARC Snipers Covered by Gungans:

50 General Aayla Secura
21 Admiral Yularen
16 ARC Sniper
16 ARC Sniper
16 ARC Sniper
16 ARC Sniper
18 Gungan Shieldbearer
18 Gungan Shieldbearer
8 Mas Ammeda
9 R2-D2, Astromech Droid
3 Uggnaught Demolitionist
3 Uggnaught Demolitionist
3 Uggnaught Demolitionist
3 Uggnaught Demolitionist

200 Points, 14 Activations

So, what'ya think? 4 Arcs (pref. split in 2 groups, 1 gungan per group) sniping double (thx to aayla) @ (i think) total with careful with yularen at +18 ATK and 40 DMG with deadeye/opp.

gungan's shield each of the ARCs + themselves...ill prob. possition the gungans to stand in front of the ARCs, since they have sniper ;)

gen. aayla cloaks herself and acts like an assassin lol even though shes a jedi :)

thoughts? comments? Qs?

HELP APPRECIATED THX IN ADVANCE!!! :)

Ok idea, but the biggest problem is just that ARC's aren't very justifiable against Sev. Stealth will keep him alive much longer and will be much more useful than Sniper and +1 attack when it comes to a game.

I think using Shieldbearers to cover some of your pieces is a decent idea but not one that should be relied on. When it works its great but when it doesn't... I'd also agree that Sev is often more helpful and with this squad I think you should have lines that are clear of your guys. Now if you were running some kind of swarm squad then I'd certainly consider the ARC Sniper because they can ignore the cover your host provides; that is the reason I have an ARC Sniper in the 200 pt. Youngling squad I have posted.

hmmmm...like this?:

Mouse Droid = Cover

21 Admiral Yularen
50 General Aayla Secura
16 ARC Sniper
16 ARC Sniper
16 ARC Sniper
18 Gungan Shieldbearer
18 Gungan Shieldbearer
8 Mas Ammeda
9 R2-D2, Astromech Droid
3 Mouse Droid
3 Mouse Droid
3 Mouse Droid
10 Rodian Trader
3 Ugnnaught Demolitionist
3 Uggnaught Demolitionist
3 Uggnaught Demolitionist

200 Points, 16 Activations

Basically same squad, excep ARCs are in back of gungans, gungans are in back of mice.

the mice (amazingly) give cover, have 20 DEF, and are shielded by the gunagns!!! THATS what I call annoying lol :P

whatya think? (i might make a whole new thread from this...)
