hey y'all
wondeirng about disruptive. currently ithought that disruptive had to be LITERALLY within 6 squres of a commander itself to supress it, but recently ive heard hints that a disruptive character can be within 6 squres of the AFFECTED character; and the CE would be disrupted for that chraacter.
for Ex.: imagine a lancer + GG DAC. the lancer goes speeding around, but encounters KK, JBM (whu-oh!). Now, when the lancer attacks KK JBM (or a character within 6 squres near KK JBM), would he only be able to make a single attack at his normal ATK rating or would he be able to make a twin attack at a +4 atk bonus, since KK JBM isnt actaully NEAR GG DAC.
thx for clearing this up in advance!!! :)

Disruptive affects you when either the commander itself is within 6 of the disruptive piece or when the character that wants to use a CE is within 6 squares of the disruptive.
In your example the Lance moving within 6 of Kyle would be disrupted. And the same would go if he was within 6 of GGDAC. Thats why they're (pieces with disruptive that is) so nice to have but a HUGE pain to play against. Hope that helps. ^_^
**Edit** Remember that disruptive only affects CE's and not SA's such as the Battle Droid Officer's fire control or any other SA that might be on the board (such as a Czerka).

Its obviously better to disrupt a commander so that noone gets his/hers CE. But if you cant get to the commander just disrupt the figs getting the CE.
As mentioned above you cant disrupt any SA's though, also note a figure like Mas Amedda who has booming voice. You wouldnt be able to disrupt him to stop him from stretching Ce's. Just a little note

This is correct - it's also in the Glossary.
