SWM is going through a difficult phase at the moment and the community of bloomilk needs to stay calm, cool, and optimistic. The folks at http://swmgamers.com are coordinating and setting in motion the game's next step, They are doing their best and we all need to have patience and give them our support. One thing the game does NOT need is everybody trying to do what He/She feels is necessary to/for the game now that Wizards is no longer in contact with SWM. The game has people already working on New Sets, Gen-Con, Regional, etc. We should offer our services but should not begin working independently on the game. (Obviously I can't stretch this enough) The members of bloomilk also need to make sure they follow the COC, there is a reason why its here. Arguing and conflicting each other will not get us anywhere in this difficult time. I ask all bloomilk members to please be "Greater Bloomilk" members, by acting responsibly and looking out for the bloomilk's well being (i.e. Not starting/participating in arguments, No Trolling,Baiting,Flaming. Basically read the COC) This is simply a call for all Bloomilk members to step up and be what Bloomilk members should be, People who love the game, A friend to all who play it, and never wanting to hurt/make someone feel as if they are not welcome Thank You Sincerely~ Ian "Luke Hates Thrawn"

People have been working indepedntly the whole time through custom minis, maps, and scenarios. I don't see why they should stop to better facilitate others. If people want to head off in their own direction, that's fine. If they want to contribute to what most people are doing over at Gamers, that's even better.

It's ok for people to create customs and to suggest them to others, but we don't need people trying to create their own "Official" customs for the game.

Something I think people need to remember is that anything that is done from here on out you take what you want to use and put it to good use. If it doesn't work for you and your group do not use it. As long as your LGS agrees to any changes that your group wants to make; it's all good. The only thing you will need to worry about is if you attend a national event like regionals or GenCon or if you decide to play at another LGS.

None of us can create "Official" customs. That would violate a couple of trademarks and copyrights. That's why they are customs. Not that I believe WOTC of LFL would go after people over minis either way. I think if someone wants to create their own rival line to that of the one developed at Gamers, they can knock their socks off. I think most successful project will occur at Gamers.

It obviosly wouldn't be compatable with the sanctioning organization set up by Gamers, but it would give players some choice for when they play at home or whatnot. Same as Jedi Civil War or The Lost Twenty.

It's ok to use them for home stuff, but there should be no contradicting with the sanctioning organization is what I'm trying to get across.

I look at it more like competition than contradiction. I think it would be better if they put those efforts into helping at Gamers though. At least their suggestions will get a look-see. And then they can do their own thing if they don't like what Gamers is doing.

We don't need people creating sets JUST to contradict them

We don't need people creating sets JUST to contradict them Exactly, because even though we all know there needs to be a more beefed up Darth Caedus we don't anyone to take the Caedus we already have and give it Master Tactician, Opportunist +40, Death Shot (Replaces Attack, Sight; Character is defeated, Save 16), etc for the same price and call it playable. What the people at Gamers are trying to go is give everyone the best possible mini that is FAIR and playable. If other people want to do their customs, no one is stopping them at all. It won't stop the work being done at Gamers. We'd just prefer for the COMmunity to get together to work together. Remember, "If we can't live together, we're going to die alone."

So, we all know swmgamers is planning new "official" minis. The bigger unknown is who's gonna make the new "official" maps?

It is good that we are keeping the map makers that are familiar with the game.
