Does Master Kota's CE and the Talz Chieftain ability stack? Kotas is a straight up bonus and the chieftains is only against certain figures.
Look at Opprotunist and Admiral Ackbar's CE.....

You would get Kota's and the Chieftan's but you'd need to check the situation for each of them. If you're attacking a unique character you'd get Kota's. For a non-unique character you'd just get the Chieftan's.
Even though they are 2 different CE's they won't stack on your non-uniques. Now if either one gave a named ability such as Opportunist or Cunning they would stack. Giving you a +7/+10 (if I'm not mistaken). Without a named ability such as Opp or Cunning or whatever, it'll strickly be one or the other, never both.

Even though they have different conditions, they are still 2 CE's that provide direct stat bonuses, thus they do not stack.

This helps me out alot understanding it like this. Basically You cannot stack 2 flat bonus' to 1 stat. But you can however stack a flat bonus' to a stat & also a named abilitiy to the same stat. Example Kota's CE if givin to a non unique fringe figure would also stack with Jabba Crime Lords CE. You would be giving the fringe piece +3 att & +3 def with Kota & Cunning Att from Jabba giving the Figure a total bonus of +7 Att, +3 Def & an extra +10 Dam. You would also be able to even stack Han Rebel Hero's CE in this scenario givin another extra +10 dam because his CE is also giving a "Named Ability".
So basically You can stack bonus' to the same stat but never 2 flat out bonus'. You would take the higher effect to the bonus. You can however stack giving named abilities and 1 flat bonus.
