Mando 200

57 Boba Fett, Mercenary Commander
27 Lobot
26 Mandalorian Quartermaster
24 Mandalorian Jedi Hunter
19 Mandalorian Scout
18 Twi'lek Black Sun Vigo
17 Mandalorian Gunslinger
8 R7 Astromech Droid
3 Mouse Droid

Preferred Reinforcements:
(Lobot) 13 Czerka Scientist
(Lobot) 3 Mouse Droid
(Lobot) 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist

(199pts. 12 activations)

Squad is supposed to have a balance of fighters. Two Accurate Cunning, one Accurate Opportunist and one not. I would use the Quartermaster and Jedi Hunter as Melee interference as well as Jedi killers. Double override. I also like giving Jolt to Boba, as it goes well with Cunning.

The point of this squad is to be on some competitive level.

Thoughts, comments, ratings?

a 57 point Commander is only going to 2 followers. i would replace the jedi hunter with another mandalorian shooter and the greater mobile is only helping the gunslinger. id drop the TBSV in exchange for another gunslinger/scout. also you could swap the ughnaught/mousedroid from your reinforcements and put the R7 in for that giving you a perfect 20 pts and that 1 extra point going towards your main squad. and boba with cunning/jolt is awesome!

The thing about the commanders only helping a limited number of followers isn't that big of a deal in this case as both of those commanders are quite the fighters themselves. The TBSV shooting at +13 for 30 with Twin is nothing to scoff at. GMA for the Gunslinger is nice as it gives them out 3 squares, four shots hopefully with cunning and mobile back in.

Also, R7 is 8 points and the czerka 13, so I cannot bring them both in with the Reinforcements.

I like the concept. Cool I made 2 similar squads:

57 Boba Fett, Mercenary Commander
27 Lobot
26 Mandalorian Quartermaster
23 Mandalorian Captain
57 Mandalorian Scout x3
6 Mouse Droid x2
3 Ugnaught Demolitionist

Preferred Reinforcements:
(Lobot) 8 R7 Astromech Droid
(Lobot) 6 Mouse Droid x2
(Lobot) 6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

(199pts. 15 activations)

and

--Fetts Mandos V2--
57 Boba Fett, Mercenary Commander
27 Lobot
26 Mandalorian Quartermaster
24 Mandalorian Jedi Hunter
38 Mandalorian Scout x2
13 Czerka Scientist
8 R4 Astromech Droid
6 Mouse Droid x2

Preferred Reinforcements:
(Lobot) 8 R7 Astromech Droid
(Lobot) 6 Mouse Droid x2
(Lobot) 6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

(199pts. 15 activations)

I'm still not sure which one I like better but I've played the V2 and it did very well. The first squad might be to shooter heavy. I really like the Jedi Hunters and the R4 can be really nasty when used at the right time.

I think having the czerka and a JH in the squad is choice.Cool

EDIT:I personally like having the Quartermaster also because I can't roll to save my life and need all the help I can get. LOL

It's about volume of shots. Sure, a plus 4 is great, but what happens when you are shooting GOWK or Flobi? Will the QM and shooting be enough to take him down before he and his squad takes out too much of your fire power? Especially when GOWK is put in place by a charging Yobuck. The threat of doing 60 to him, to me makes all the difference. Further, when you are shooting 16X per round, the dice will come around. There is no such thing as a "poor" roller. It's about averages. At an average of +13, you will hit around 50% of the time, which is more than enough.

Fett doesn't really need to be used as a commander, though. Seriously, he is perhaps the best Fett stat wise. You don't see him much because of his faction.
