If I am correct, then the ISP is considered to be non-living and cannot be subject to poison, force heal, etc., but can you use The Dark Woman's Light Tutor Ability to give it a force rating and then have QuiGonn JT provide the +4 to attack? Thanks.

Yes. Light Tutor does not have to target a Living character, all it requires is an allied character.

You can give Light Tutor to the ISP. You can also give it to Doombot, which is awesome.

I haven't seen anything that says it's considered to be non-living... only thing terribly special about it is that it is Mounted Weapon which means only allies with Mounted Weapon or adjacent allies with Gunner can combine fire with it.

And 99% worthless, as Move Faster cannot be used with Tow Cable.

Characters with Mounted Weapon are considered to be non-living.

Do they get commander effects?

Yes only Droids and Savage characters can't benefit from Commander Effects.

Yes, there is nothing about Mounted Weapon character that would prevent them from gaining CE's. The main thing about them is that they are subject to things like Shockstaff and Ion Gun.

EDIT: joelker beat me to it....

egads... sorry for being so dense, but neither the Glossary or the Special Abilities FAQ mention that Mounted Weapon makes something "non-living"... is there an errata I'm missing?

er, nevermind....... looked up the definition of "living": A living character does not have the Mounted Weapon ability and is either a non-Droid or a Cyborg.

Would be nice if the definition for Mounted Weapon mentioned it wasn't considered living though!!! :)

But being able to Move Faster to allow you to either get out of LoS or get adjacent to an ally is very helpful. Lord Vader beating down on GOWK? Wait, GOWK is 13 squares from Doombot? Need not worry, Move Faster to the rescue!
