well from doing some reasearch something seems to suggest that some of these "sellers" have created different accounts to out bid low bidders as an attempt to squeeze more cash out of those bidding. I almost won a clone strike yoda that was unseemingly swept away by someone named u***e, this "buyer" has an 83% bid activity with the "seller" of said item. In my view of the world there are no coincidences. They simply can't seem to let go of a $25 mini for $5.

well, it IS ebay and it IS a free country lol...
but i see what youre saying, its kinda messed up but hey thats how the world is you know?

However, often I get into duels (or whatever 3 bidders would be) over a slew of items from one seller, and we each win some based on priorities. I am a person who will go a few bucks over the minimum bid for a ton of items. "Shotgun bidding" has done me good. For example, there aare a bunch of VR's at $5. I'll put down 7.50 on all the ones that I think would be good deals and usually i sneak a few past, but that's more the sellers fault than my prowess; they put a bunch of items ending at the same time. I wouldn't say tht's necessarily shill bidding, we'd need more info.

I bid on about 30 items from a seller last week, only ended up winning 1 of them. But getting Grievous DAC for $10 with just 1 bid seems worth it, wouldn't you think? lol
And on a slightly unrelated note, I just won Kol Skywalker, Cade Padawan, and two Exceptional Jedi Apprentices (I run NR a lot) for .99, with $4 shipping. So deals *can* be had if you're patient with eBay and my advice is to NEVER bid over what you're willing to pay at the beginning. There will always be another auction. =)
