Has the SA: Invisibility : This character can be targeted only by attacks from adjacent characters. It never counts as the nearest enemy.
Is there anyway this can be attacked if not adjacent? DO all force powers require targeting?

Area attacks can affect him (Grenades, missles, etc.), but setting-up such an attack can be tricky. You have to get him adjacent to somebody that you CAN target.
Force Repulse is a popular force power that works at range and does not require targeting.
EDIT: I use the term 'attack' above, but it is really a Special Ability since you are not rolling the dice and comparing the result to Defense. Just thought I better clarify.

Thanks, yes I was aware of the area attacks against an adjacent target, I was thinking if he was stood on his own. Force repulse is a good example of a nontargeted attack though.

There are others I have found suc as unleash the force, shockwave, etc. I was thinking if you could not get adjacent for some reason.

My question is how is adjacent defined pertaining to this character. The wording for Melee Reach X is:
When making an attack on its own turn, this character treats all characters within X squares as adjacent for all purposes. This character can be affected by enemy special abilities or Force powers that specify adjacent characters and interrupt this attack, such as Self-Destruct.
I mean, I think it's in the wording but Mines seems to effect all characters with melee..., period.

Melee reach only comes into effect when a character is attacking on their own turn.
When the character is moving, they are not attacking, so Melee Reach does not come into effect, and thus Mines do not trigger when a character with Melee Reach X moves within X squares of the Chameleon Droid.

Incorrect. By your thinking, MR2 would never be used. Targetting is essentially the very first step of an attack.

Think of it this way: A character's turn includes a potential moving phase and a potential attacking phase. When in the attacking phase, you target then attack (roll a D20). Melee Reach X states that during the attack phase of the character's turn, all characters within X are adjacent for all purposes, including targeting purposes (incidentally, also self destruct of the target).
