hey
if a character moves adjacent to a (closed) door and ends his turn, is oening the door optional or is it a"must"? (assuming override has no effect ATM)

Its a must. If you end your turn next to the door, and its not overriden, then the door opens. Only in the case of intuition can you move next to a door, and it not open.

Intuition and Surprise Move don't trigger a door check because a turn does not end.

I'm not saying that was why he posted that. I just thought it obvious if one knows the rules for intuition that there would be no door check on a intuition move is all. No Harm was intended.
