ok my buddy always plays lord vader in 150 along with emperor and arica and i am trying to find a way to beat lord vader with out using shooters and GMLS. I feel using shooters against a melee guy is kinda of a crutch thing to do. So are there any melee builds that would be really good against lord vader. I play all the factions but vong. I have most of all the pieces except clone strike single attacking jedi.

Well that shouldnt be too hard a squad to beat honestly. LV+Throne+Arica is 135 points. Its also not a crutch to play shooters lol. LV is only really sccary when he has thrawn getting him around. Without thrawn its easier to screen your big attackers against him. Id say run Grand Master Yoda and a few Jedi Weapon Masters vader will have a tough time hitting your dudes.

You might want to try Vader Scourge with Thrawn, that way each time he hits you, you get a chance to do 40 damage back to him.(Oppro + JH + 20 base damage)
You could also try a Lancer/Sidious squad, strafe him and get far enough away so he cant hit you.
