So, I'm trying to get my head around these mittens that Fel (and friends) has (have). The -20 makes sense easypeasy - I had 20 damage, now I have 0... sux - and with Bane-o, he goes to 10 damage... BUT what happens on like a Darth Maul who has Sith Rage... if he'd been cortosis'd, could he still Sith Rage on a Triple and possibly hit 10s?

yes. :) its minus 20 damage, so in essense, its his base dmage (0) +10 from sith rage making it 10 dmg...but crits wouldn't do extra since 0x2=0 still, lol

Isn't it Base Dam 20 minus 20 for Cort. So a crit would be 40 - 20 = 20 ?

The -20 from cortosis gauntlets applies as a bonus, just in the negative direction meaning it applies after the multiplication of damage by a crit. so it would be 20 base damage x2 for 40 and then -20 for a result of 20 damage. further abilities and force powers like sith rage would also come into play.

Cortosis Gauntlet does not affect base damage. A penalty is applied just like a bonus.

In essence yes it would. THe Faq says: This special ability appears only on characters with the Lightsaber Block Force power. Whenever this character gets a result of 18 or higher on a save when using Lightsaber Block against an enemy with a lightsaber, that enemy gets -20 Damage for the rest of the skirmish. This effect is not cumulative with repeated blocks, and Damage can never be reduced below 0.
so yes you could get - 40 damage but it will never reduce your damage below 0. and at that point you better hope for that crit.

Umm, no.
Not being culmative means you can only be affected by Cortosis Gauntlet once, so you will only have -20 Dam from Cortosis, no matter how many times you trigger it.

Even if you attack two separate figures with Gauntlets and they both make their save?

It's still the same ability so it wouldn't stack.
