yes because synergy is a special abillity, and A commander effect that gives a flat bonus stacks with any special abillity.

that's a wicked combo to face!

A good example for SA's that stack that i always use for example is lets say you have Gowk & GMY in a squad, if you are able to gain both ce's for a figure you would choose the higher even though both CE's work under different conditions they are still granting the exact same flat (no named) bonus to stats.

Now lets say you have GMY, Antarian Rangers & Admiral Yularen, If the rangers are within 6 of GMY & in range for Yularens CE, the rangers would get GMY's CE which would be +3att/+3def, then they would also gain Syrnegy which is a named ability compared to yoda's flat stat bonus so would be a total of +7att/+7def bonus. Then if conditions are right to gain opp from yularen, they would also get that too because its a different named ability being granted. So that would be a grand total of +11att/+7def/+10dam bonus, if you could give them deceptive they would also gain that being another different named ability...

Now see figs like Xizor (IE),Captain Antilles (ROTS), Talz Chieftan, none of these CE's would stack with eachother even though it takes different conditions to gain them, they are all granting flat bonus' to stats in which this is considered no stacking. So once you know flat bonus' from named abilties bonus', then its easy to start figuring out what would stack & what wouldnt..
