I mean do you guys use any abbreviations for minis, sets, maps, glossary terms, force powers, or special abilities? If so, what are they? I already know GOWK.

Some common ones I see a lot are:
ERC - Elite Rebel Commando
TBSV - Twi'leck Black Sun Vigo
Yobuck - Yoda on Kybuck
Loda - Luke Skywalker and Yoda
Flobi - Obi Wan Kenobi, Jedi General
Doombot - R2-D2 Astromech
Most of the abbreviations are easy to figure out if you look at the context. It would probably just be best to post the ones you come across and can't figure out rather than ask people to tell you ones, most people won't remember them until they are used. People are happy to help, it would just be easier if you give us specifics.
