I seem to recall that a Mettle re-roll adds to the dice roll for things like Cortosis Gauntlet. ie If Zayne has MotF 2 (for any reason) as well as Mettle and rolls a 14 on a LS Block using the FP re-roll, the +4 adds to give your total an 18 to trigger CG. Or was that just Karmic Luck? I may be remembering incorrectly.
But, if my initial conclusion is correct, does this also work with something like Deadly Attack? If a Mettle re-roll is a 15 +4, does that trigger Deadly Attack?

For Deadly Attack, the attack roll must be a natural roll of 19 or 20. So if you have Mettle and Deadly, a roll of a 15 will NOT trigger Deadly.

That's what I was thinking. I double checked the def for CG and it mentions a "result" of 18 as opposed to a "natural" 18, so it makes sense that it wouldn't work with something like Deadly Attack.
