I just picked up 3 AAT transformers from toysrus.com for 11 bucks each. I thought they were pretty cheap and as good of scale as we are likely to get. My question is what base size would you use? Im thinking of making a 4X4 inch square base for them as 3X3 seems too small, but it would still work, since the tie crawlers are major overhangers. The gargantuan dragons from D&D are that size and look like the AT-AT base. I may make a cast of them and use some acrylic rods. Also I think there were some stats posted here from one of the ultimate missions books anyone rember which one? Input would be appreciated.

Yeah, a 4x4 base would fit well. There were some stats in the Clone Strike Ultimate Missions book, but they weren't all that good. My only recommendation would be to use some epoxy putty (green stuff) to fill in the splits and give it a smoother outer shell.

Revell is supposed to be coming out with a 1/48 scale AAT and AT-TE in late 2010.
