How does Rend and Twin attack interact?

You do not factor in the attacks granted by Twin Attack when determining Rend.
So it'd look like this:
X attacks
X gets a Twin Attack on the first attack
X uses Double Attack (If this attack and the first attack hits, this attack gets Rend)
X gets a Twin Attack on the second attack.
