So then, Gencon is around the corner... so that means we're not far away from the first Virtual Set! Oooo... what am I gonna pull?!?!

Haha, I'm honestly more excited about Gencon being just 6 days away, but the looming v-set is very exciting, too. I believe Dean said on the last episode of the SHNN that there will be 4 previews shown at Gencon, so we should have a few stats in our hands in just about a week!

Hey Kezza.
I know they did a Virtual Set for the Decipher card game too but could you explain the Virtual set concept for me? Is it stats or printable cards? Just curious. Thanks.

The guys at Gamers are putting together a group of cards with new characters, stats, and abilities. I think Dean said they'd print the cards and ship them at cost. Since there are no figs with these cards, they will list on the card the preferred existing fig to use when playing the virtual set card. For example, let's pretend there is a Young Anakin virtual card. It could state to use a Youngling figure to represent Young Anakin.

According to Dean on swmgamers.com and Bill, the set won't be completed until October/Novemberish. Lobosteele said that the set designers are trying to incorporate some new abilities, CEs and force powers (some comming from gamer suggestions I might add). Best advice I can give is patience. Everyone involved with the creation process is doing their best that the additions from the new set are balanced and fit with the feel of each faction.
I wish I was going to GENCON this year so I can see the v-set previews. For those of you who are going, I am a little envious, but I wish you all a fantastic time (especially anyone participating in Nationals this year). Cheers!
