Woolywoo's Custom set. The Expanding Universe
Obviously this is a tribute to the EU, for the most part.

There is really only one figure who has been done before, Durge, and this is a tribute to him in his coolest appearance in the comics. Other than that you will see characters from the EU Books, Comics, Video Games ranging from KOTOR to Clone Wars to TFU. I've tried to make each character reflect a specific person from that time and source.

Despite being an excellent pilot and one of the best slicers in the galaxy, Grinder Thri'ag's penchant for playing irritating pranks on his squadron mates almost outweighs his usefulness.

Kell Tainer, Wraith Squadron's Demolition expert, is also a skilled hand to hand combatant, though he lives in abject terror of his squadron mate, Wes Janson, the pilot who shot down his father.

Jetpack Malfunction, When this character suffers a critical hit all characters within 6 spaces take 20 damage, Save 11

They were the primary Imperial unit designated to "keep order" on low gravity worlds or on atmospheric platforms such as Cloud City. Unfortunately their jetpacks were susceptible to damage and prone to destructive explosions.

The mad clone of a dead Republic Jedi Master, Joruus C'boath was recruited by Thrawn to use against the rebel alliance. His increasing instability coupled with his exceptional ability to manipulate minds made him as much a danger as an asset.


New Republic

The manipulative Borsk Fey'lya wormed his way to the top of the New Republic government by cunning and deception. His time as Chief of State was brought to an explosive end when Coruscant fell to the Yuuzhan Vong


YVH Droid

Laminanium Armor, whenever this character takes damage, it reduces the damage dealt by 10 with a save of 11. Attacks with lightsabers ignore this special ability.

Battle Droids designed by Lando Calrissian's Tendrando Arms Coroporation to combat the Yuuzhan Vong invasion.


GAG Trooper
Cost: 10
Hit Points: 20
Defence: 14
Attack: 8
Damage: 20

Affinity: May be in a squad with Jacen Solo, or regardless of faction.
Synergy: +4 attack, +10 damage within 6 squares of Jacen Solo.
Rapport: This character costs 1 point less when in a squad with Jacen Solo

Fanatical loyalty to Jacen Solo is the hallmark of Galactic Alliance Guard troopers.


Galactic Alliance Commando

Originally conceived as a stopgap to aid the Jedi in their task of keeping justice in the galaxy, the Judiciaries became the strong arm of Republic law enforcement.

A gifted teacher and a skilled lightsaber combatant who mastered the Shien Form, Zez-Kai Ell served on the Jedi Council during the mandalorian wars.

Under the guidance of their Academy Instructors, Sith acolytes learn the ways of treachery and deceit well... or they perish by them.


Sith Seeker Droid

Seeker Droid, At the beginning of the game select one character from the enemy squad, this character cannot benefit from stealth or cover when within line of sight of the seeker droid.

Designed to seek out a target and doggedly pursue them at the behest of their sith master.


Admiral Saul Karath
Cost: 26

Defence: 18
Attack: 8
Damage: 10

Special Abilities:
Fire Support Mission, Replaces turn: Choose 1 enemy within line of sight, ignoring cover, 60 damage to target enemy and every character within 2 squares; save 6. A successful save reduces the damage to 10.

Commander Effect: Non-Unique allies gain intuition

Admiral Saul Karath betrayed the Republic after the mandalorian wars, joining the forces of Darth Revan and serving Darth Malak. Forces under his command bombarded the surfaces of Telos and later Taris, eradicating most life on both planets.

His tactical brilliance made the Zann Consortium the largest criminal organization in the galaxy after the death of Prince Xizor and the decline of Black Sun. Even the forces of the Empire at its height could not contain the spread of corruption.

Members of the Bando Gora Cult are kept in line by their chemical dependence on a special formula of death stick, chemically engineered for its high level of addictiveness and its enhancement of violent aggression.

The insectile Verpine are normally passive, counting on their superior technology to intimidate prospective foes. Occasionally they resort to less friendly means of discouragement.

Special Abilities:
Munitions Supplies 20, Replaces turn: choose 1 adjacent ally to gain Grenades 20 for the rest of the skirmish.

Anything can be bought... for the right price.

CorSec agents are the first line of defense between the population of the Corellian system and the scourges of smuggling, slaving and organized crime.

Those who wear the bloodstripe are the best the Corellian armed forces have to offer.

Disruptive presence, Not subject to commander effect, allies within 6 spaces are not subject to commander effects.
Accurate Shot

Leader of the Death Watch and rival to Jango Fett as the template for the clone army, Montross built a reputation as a bounty hunter with a sadistic delight in excessive force.


Yuuzhan Vong:

War Coordinator, Allies' commander effects normally limited to 6 squares have unlimited range

Commander Effect
Dangerous Dependence, Allied Yuuzhan Vong gain +4 attack. If this unit is defeated allied Yuuzhan Vong Gain -4 Defense for the rest of the skirmish.

Yammosk were Yuuzhan Vong creatures used as coordinators during battles to send telepathic orders to their forces to to optimize their effectiveness


Villip
Cost: 3
Hit Points: 10
Defence: 18
Attack: 0
Damage: 0

Rapport, This character costs one point less when in a squad with another villip.

Special Abilities:
Telepathic Link, Designate one Yuuzhan Vong for each Villip in your squad, each villip will move with that character as part of its turn, while the villip is adjacent that character they gain Relay Orders if the character with the commander effect also has a adjacent villip. The villip is defeated if that character is defeated.

The villip were specially engineered life forms used by the Yuuzhan Vong to communicate and relay orders over distances.


Voxyn
Cost: 30
Hit Points: 70
Defence: 19
Attack: 10
Damage: 10

Special Abilities:
Melee Attack
Paralysis
Force Immunity
Jedi Hunter +20
Poison +20
Sonic Stunner, Replaces attacks: range 6; living target and each living character adjacent to that target are considered activated this round; save 11 negates. Huge and larger characters ignore this special ability.

Voxyn were Yuuzhan Vong creatures biologically ideal for killing jedi

Pretty cool dude. Cant say I can fully enjoy it cuz I really dont know who most of these people are Scared but I cant wait to see durge and severance!

Really nice stuff here. Cheap and decent so you can boost them with CE and SA, not broken.
Refreshing to look at since alot of us, myself included, are always trying to re-invent the wheelBigGrin
The only one i question is Tyber Zann.
He gives everyone Master tacticion? That seems a bit of a waste imo.
Should he not have Master tacticion and give something else, blaster upgrade or something?

Thanks! I tried to make it all fit together and work and still incorporate some favorite characters from the games/comics/books etc. I get sick of the Broken Customs where someone wants to make *the* most powerful piece possible - I wanted to keep folks to scale with their characters and do one or two new things.

I tried to make sure any new abilities or commander effects etc were as reasonable as possible.

Only piece I came close to breaking was Durge, and that's just because he's freaking awesome. But he is an expensive awesome, meant to absolutely own anything with a force rating. But even his overpowered skill (Bolo rifle) has a save throw.

Zann- Fixed! Dont know why I put Master tactician as a CE rather than a special ability.
