I do realize that some CE's, like Rieekan's and a stormtrooper commander's cannot be used if they're locked in a room, but other CE, like Dodonna's and San's.

My question is, which kinds of CE's are rangeless (cannot go past doors/walls) or boardwide(doesn't matter where you are, they work even if you're locked in a room. Only disruptive can shut it off.)?

im not positive, but i think if the CE explicitly says to count range (ex. "characters within 6 squares") then it can be locked in a room. if it's already rangeless (ex. rieekan) i would think it's boardwide. beats me. Blushing

If a CE does not list a range, then it is a boardwide effect. Being in a locked room would have no effect on the CE.

Also, Rieekan's CE is rangeless.

So could CE's normally limited to 6 that are affected by Mas Ammeda/booming voice be counted past walls/closed doors?

Confused about Rieekan. His CE doesn't list a range so wouldn't it be boardwide, not rangeless?

Boardwide and rangeless are the same thing.

No. A CE affected by Mas becomes unlimited range, meaning that while the distance between the commander and the affected character can be infinite, you must still be able to count range to them. If one of the characters is in a closed room, you cannot count range to them.
