Umm, no. WOTC no longer has the license to making anything Star Wars related. Someone else has the license. We will see if they continue this game or make a new one.

Do we have proof that someone bought the license? Has there been any public announcement of the fact or is it all rumor mill? Unless it is in print then how can we know for sure. Up to this point I don't remember any actual news release. All I remember is people saying things that they heard.

It has been heard from reliable sources that it has been purchased, though. Now, whether or not a miniatures game will be made is a different question altogether; whoever bought the license could just make an RPG or TCG and no miniatures game. Honestly, that's what I'm expecting, considering how poor the profit margin for miniatures is (from what I've heard, I'm no expert on the subject by any means).

I don't know miniature manufacturing but I have been in manufacturing, DVDs specifically. The process is very similar I'd imagine, plastic injection molding. Even with our high payroll overhead (we had US workers as opposed to miniatures being made in China) we were still able to turn over a 300% profit from design to shipping. We shut down and the company was moved to Mexico. So what a company thinks is poor can mean about anything I guess. So at this point the announcement being made at GenCon then at C5 was all speculation I'm guessing since we have heard nothing
