I can't seem to find this posted anywhere. Regionals is listed, but not Gencon.
Who won? What'd they play? Top 8? Anyone know, or did i just miss the info somewhere?

Ah, i see now. I was expecting a full write up and play reports kinda like the Heroclix boys have. Thanks DJ

It is simple I won using the following:

Trade Federation Battleship
Commerce Guild Destroyer
The Outrider
Banking Clan Frigate x 4

It worked great and I went undefeated with it. You should try it.

I'm going to play a game against Lou using a Rebel fleet of fighters (with missiles) and see how that turns out.

Ah i see your thread here in Play Reports now, guess i over-looked it because the word/s "Gencon or world championship" isn't in the title :)

Ahh it is good to think that way. But Nate and I played that matchup and using my lovely yellow and green die Iw as able to pull the win. I had a banking clan frigate left and the outrider so I was still alive.

But no matter he wanted to know the winning squad and I gave it up.

Just avoid the temptation to net deck.

Also the Falcon is not better in this build. The Outrider is there to get rid of missle ships.

Isn't the Outrider a lightside ship? Did the SSB games use a variant of the rules this year?
