The topic says it all. This forum has lost its right to post V-set information. All threads pertaining to Gamers material should be removed ASAP by either the mods, or the original poster of the thread. Failure to do so in a timely manner, could lead to further action.

If you have questions regarding this decision, please ask them on SWMGamers in a polite manner.

Edit - V-set discussion is of course allowed, but stats, images, card scans, and so on should be removed from the forum. Dean has taken on a large amount of personal liability for copyright infringement, and he does not trust some of this site to act on that in good faith, and as is his right, it should be removed.

Um, not to be a debby downer, but I think the threat about legal action is unnecessary, and implausible. The V-sets are essentially really awesome customs that a large number of players have agreed to treat as "official". Unless I have missed something major in the last couple of months, I don't believe anyone at gamers has the license to produce star wars miniatures stat cards. So, to threaten legal recourse over intellectual property that isn't owned by Gamers seems a bit silly to me.

As to the polite request to remove other people's hard work from a website because that's what they want, I'll leave that up to other mods or the thread posters themselves. But that is because I have my own personal beliefs about allowing as much information to be spread over the internet as possible. We are one community, all fans of the same genre and game, so I would hope we could all come together and enjoy all aspects of the game. Including the V-set.

We are no longer one community. You can thank Shinja for that split. And as such, you are being asked to no longer host information that is produced for Gamers. This was Dean's request, and I would like to believe that if anything you said about the "community" has any meaning to you, you will respect his request and honor it.

The problem is thus. Dean has all the liability with LFL on this, and he no longer trusts this forum to handle it properly. That is his right, and he has earned that in the years of work for the community. If you all can't respect that, then honestly, you just further point out that this forum is a community built on hatred of another, and not worth the time.

Either way, the stuff needs to come done ASAP.

Edit - Discussion can stay here, the spoiler information, images, and cards need to be removed. I posted in the threads that contained those aspects.

Well, if you had one of the mods with a personal beef against you, using his powers as a mod to break the CoC repeatedly, deleting evidence, and many other things, and the site owner tell you that he doesn't care at all about that behavior, I think you too would see the issue.

The problem is, that none of this is out in the open, precisely because it's a clear case of abuse of power. They've hidden a ton of it, and you either have to believe us or not about it. I'm not real concerned with convincing people of what goes on here, it will happen to you if you stick around long enough and post enough anyway in all likelihood.

Either way, the material needs to be removed, and nothing more should be posted.

Lets just be clear here.

There will be no legal action.

I have zero trust in this site, the owner and his endorsement of a power hungry moderator who has a personal axe to grind with me.

So he is the deal. Since the V-sets (yes we are already working on set 2) is basically on legal thin ice and I am the one name on the entire project that can get in trouble, I need complete trust.

I have non of that here. I have overlooked a lot and taken a lot of shit from folks on this site. with that I have about zero trust of folks here. So when it comes to official previews or card images those wont happen here. I am sorry to folks who think this is unfair. If you think it is unfair you should speak to the absentee owner of this site.

Because Shinja has become at best unreliable and hard to contact I also am reluctant to allow the stats to go into the squad buidling program. Again with no real way to contact and a moderator that has written he has some personal issues with myself and has proved it the last couple of days.... well suffice to say I wont be back and neither will the v-sets.

I understand some of you hate my website (for what reason I have zero clue other than I think you have listened to people on here) so I will be making the previews availible on other forums out there. You can listen to the SHNN to find out the particulars.

With that I bid you farewell. I have really enjoyed the 2 years of being treated like crap by some, the threats of physical violence from MDB, the griping about the floor rule changes, and the fact most of you hate the competitive game. Weird that you folks think that we wont tolerate you on gamers..... where we dont delete posts that we disagree with. But now you wont have to worry about such obring things like v-sets, floor rules, and map changes.

To the people who have truly been good sports and kind on here. I will miss you but I am easy to find on gamers.

Good bye

By the request of the owner in regards to the V-sets, it has been removed from the forums.
