hey
i was wondering about general skywalkers CE and yobuck. Since gen. Skywalkers CE says 'followrs who END their move within 6 of this character gain momentum.' SO, i concluded....yobuck must ENDhis turn within 6 squares to gain momentum (thus negating the use of galloping attack)...lets say we throw mas ammeda into the mix. Since his BV special affect saysa 'allies CEs range 6 become unlimited' wouldnt that only change skywalkers CE to 'followers who end their move within UNLIMITED squares of this character gain momentum'...making yobucks galloping atk STILL useless, since he must end his move in oder to benifit from skywalkers CE?
Thanks, help appreciated

Yep you're right.
Yobuck must end his move to benefit from momentum. He still gets his normal galloping though.

Though when he ends his move, if he gets any Galloping Attacks when entering that last square, he would get Momentum on them.

And technically speaking, you do need to declare that you are actually "ending your move" before you gain the CE, but it is correct that his gallops (if any) in that last square gain momentum. The reason for this is simple. The timing of the CE happens the moment he ends his move. The attacks made from gallop occur after Yoda finishes his movement into a square. Yoda must move fully into a square and complete that square of movement before Gallop attacks are made. Therefore, you can also declare that his final movement and gain the CE before the Gallops are made. So in short, you can run 16 squares with Master speed and hit something at +22 for 30, then +18 for 30 for a total of 60 damage to one target.

Also worth noting that if you have them paired up with Commander Ahsoka, you can master speed 16 squares, stop your move, momentum gallop something, kill it, take a free square of movement (rolling cleave), make a free attack with momentum (rolling cleave), get a gallop with momentum, then take your regular attack with momentum as well. Good way to kill Rex or Dash when they are too close to a mouse droid or whatnot.

I have a further question on galloping attack and momentum. If Yobuck gallop attacks 16 squares with Master Speed, when he reaches the last square can he gallop attack more than one unit with momentum at that last square.
For example, if there are three enemy characters all in a line that he hasn't attacked previously, and he gallops up to the middle one, can he attack all three as part of his galloping attack, and with momentum?
Diagram: |: direction Yobuck came from Y: Yobuck's last square of Gallop Attack E: Line of 3 enemies
-|- -Y- EEE
I guess this is more a question about gallop attack than about momentum though?

Yes, he can. If he moves adjacent and is able to use Galloping Attack, as long as you declare you are stopping here you can use Momentum. Then you can make your normal Momentum attack against one of the adjacent minis.

now, about strafe, accelerate, and galloping attack, would yoda only move 10 while galloping(because he's attacking), and thus can only move 10? same with strafe. but if you have accelerate and strafe, and normal speed(6), would you only be able to move 6 because you're attacking and using strafe, and accelerate states you can move the extra spaces if you DON'T attack?

Yoda on Kybuck can: Attack, and move 10, galloping enemies along the way (16 with master Speed) move 10 galloping enemies along the way (16 with master Speed) then make an attack Move 20 (26 with master speed) galloping enemies along the way without making a normal attack
A Scouttrooper or Commando on speederbike can: Attack, then move 6, strafing whoever he flies over move 6, strafing whoever he flies over and then make a normal attack at the end move 12, strafing whoever he flies over Move 24 with Accelerate, attacking no one (Accelerate and Strafe Attack are contradictory adn thus do not work together)
