Seriously, I own every map Matt and Chris have produced commercially, and this set is my favorite for mass battles and scenarios. (I actually own 2 copies of this map pack to get in some really huge battles.) The maps individually hold up fine for normal skirmish play as well.
If you have never bought non-WOTC-sponsored maps before, you'll find these thicker and better quality paper. (This is true of all of Matt's and Chris's after-market maps)

Every time I play on one of Chris West's or Matt Francella's maps, I find myself amazed at how well they're put together. A lot of LOSes are set up just right so you have to be at a certain place to make a certain shot. They really contain ranged pieces to make a balanced game.

Jim is right, their maps are amazing, and the quality of the paper on which they are printed definitely surpasses that of the WotC maps to a noticeable degree. They feel more rugged and the art looks more crisp as well. Definitely get their stuff!

I recieved mine the other day and laid them out on my bed. They look brilliant! I can't wait to take this to the random internet strangers who have agreed to meet and play with me.
Also, it must have gotten by me that there are maps on the back because that was a surprise to me. They look brilliant. I am loving the map choice I have here!! Thank you. I will be picking up MP4 as soon as I can find the cash for it.

Even though I haven't actually played a game of minis (new to the game) that hasn't stopped me from going acquisition happy. I bought these yesterday with some other stuff. Looking forward to seeing them next week. I rationalized it as even if I can't get a physical game in sometime they should look cool on the wall. :) Although my goal is to build up a local playgroup beyond me & my kids and get some real games in. I'm working on converting my monsterpocalypse group to branch out. By branching out I mean using my little collection of figures (and now) maps! They're intrigued and hopefully we'll get some traction. Also we're starting up a Saga RP game. I haven't role played since, umm..., a reaaaaaallllly long time. So looking forward to that and my plan is to see if the GM would like to use my shiny new maps. Which of course would lead to minis potential... I even bought my Duros scoundrel figure to represent my character. The plan comes together. I'll stop rambling now. Can't wait to see them and I'm sure I'll be picking up other map packs in the relatively near future!
