Ok so there are 2 versions of Light Tutor and both are different from one another.

Was the wording revised to "ally" of YoD?

I don't see any errata for YoD, so his Light Tutor is restricted to Rebel allies only.

As a rule, when the card is more restrictive than the glossary, you go by the card.
