Sorry if this has already been asked/answered, but this came up a little while ago and we didn't really know the answer. If I have a character with Override who on his previous turn opened a door, can I open/close a door that can only be seen through the other door? I know that the first door closes at the end of the character's turn, but so does Override. Does he get to do it because he is the acting player and gets to decide the order? No. If the door would close if you removed the Override, then your LOS would be broken.

At the end of turn, you choose the order to check (1) for adjacent door changes or (2) for the new override. You must apply the new override before the old override releases.

It's been a long time, but unless I am reading his question wrong, Scott you are incorrect.

Override resolution is one step, and occurs all at once. You cannot resolve a previously overridden door first, then pick a new one, or vice versa. Because of that, the door is in the same state as it was (in this case open) as he resolves it. Therefore, he should be able to open/close a door beyond it provided of course he has los. I'm pretty sure the previously overridden door returns to normal control, and then depending on the players choice of resolving doors or override first or second, the door can either remain open, or close. You cannot however, do the reverse (if the door had been locked closeed on the previous turn).

1) At the time you resolve override, you may override any door you can see before dealing with a door overridden on the previous turn.

2) Resolve the newly overridden door.

3) Resolve the removal of override from the previous turn.

You may resolve all normal doors before or after resolving override.

Just to clarify, 2 and 3 are really one single step. There was the issue of "forgetting" to remove an override a while back - but otherwise, your layout is more helpful than my post :)

Also, my favorite use of this is to override a second door open with my first activation after having resolved doors regularly before this step, and then with my second act, shoot through both open doors, allowing the first door to close after the shot. Hope that isn't too much confusion :)

So, if I have R2 adjacent to a closed door...

The door opens -->he can override doors that are now in LOS?

assuming that the door that R2 was adjacent too hadn't been overridden closed by R2 in the previous round.
