That stopped before it started. They only released the one set in 2006. Wizards is no longer LFL licensed.

I'm pretty sure WotC stopped that production right after it was released, lol. They've had several firesales with it, with special coupons to try and get rid of leftover stock and still not getting it out. They finally released it all to Target and if you're lucky you'll find some in a few places.

If you are interested in the SSB, on Gamers they are working on creating SSB 2.0 with updated stats and a better skirmish play (it ran at GenCon and I'm told everyone enjoyed the new rules).

Though it is very difficult to find the pieces these days as said. You're best bet it looking on eBay for someone selling off a collection.

Slight correction: They sold the stock to wholesale collectible companies like Excell, who then distributed the stock amongst the stores they supply.

it is definately much more fun now.

Engineer developed a new set of rules for Jim Fraser and I. They are based ont he popular War at Sea engine. The game plays better and makes more sense under the new rules.

Although I must say Eric missed out a little bit on the fighters. They did not come into play in the Championship at Gencon. Capital ships were the winner....

I think that WotC decided to give up on Starships before it was released. They've shown up in the Target liquidation sales, at least near me they have.
