Can you shoot through a just opened door? Options

So lets say that a stormtrooper is 3 squares away from a closed door. He moves the 3 and stops his movement, opening the door. Since he still has the other half of his actions left, can he then shoot someone on the other side of that freshly opened door?

Or does the door open after his turn is completely ended?

Doors are checked after his turn has ended.

ahh i remeber playing like that lol but no sadley the ST must complete activation before thee door is opened

Ah phooey, I hate being wrong. It came up yesterday and I was arguing for, and the other guy was against - and since it seemed like a cheap move we decided that he couldnt shoot.

No big deal - it didnt change the game too badly, but its nice to know for the future.
