Only done it twice, and the first time was through the Imperial Entanglements release tournament (I pulled the Vader and his power piece was Arica), and then I more legitimately beat him at a constructed event. My happiest was when you beat Tint after he beat me. you're welcome!

Probably Getting 3 Boba BH's in my first 6 packs of BH, or deciding to throw in a TFU booster to a $30 singles order from MM and getting a Revan.
As for playing, taking out a full HP Vader from IE with my Luke HOY in one turn. Those crits just kept coming! I think I got 4 flurry attacks, 3 of them on a second twin attack.

I've got quite a few, but my favorite recent one was in a 3-way 200-point 2-map battle I had with Ted (Eroschilles) and Paul (Archdeluxe). I was running a Felcor squad with Dash, Rieekan, TBSV, Ferus, Anakin FS, and other stuff. I had gotten pretty banged up towards the end of the game, so I decided to take a risk. I use Dark Temptation with Ferus Olin to try and take out one of Paul's pieces, and of course needing something like a 4, I roll something ridiculous like a 2. And then of course I fail the save, so he joins Paul's squad.
A couple rounds later, he positions Ferus just barely close enough for my Felcor to run up and smack him and kill Ferus, thus giving me the points for killing my own piece. Those points put me over the other two players and ended up being the difference to help me win! It was pretty neat, lol.

I was aware of the game before it came out via advertisements online, and while at my LGS of the time, my friend/owner of the store convinced me to get some boosters.
Emperor Palpatine and Boba Fett from Rebel Storms release date. When I got back to college I found out the guys accross the hall had gotten the starter set... that meant a map to play on.. then its all History really.
Otherwise I gotta admit I was pretty excited about $3.99 ROTS set Boosters at wal-mart. pretty sure that was the price anyway. I went to the two local ones and bought them out. I didn't earn 127 trades on WOTC easily lol.
Good times all around!

I'd have to go with GenCon this last year. I have never played in a tourny of any kind for this game and I had been doing months of prep work to figure out my squad. I got off to an awful start in the world championships 0-3 at lunch time. I should've won 2 of those games, 1 was definately my fault for bad positioning and the other was him making his lsd saves...all 5 of them. Anyways after lunch I was ranked 2nd to last (54th I think). I got an easy win and then had to play DarthJim next and it was one of the best games I have ever played in. He had a Vader SotJ/Arica/Thrawn/CLObot squad, I had Han smuggler, Luke RC, PL, Riekaan, Dod, Madine, 2 x ERC, 2x Bothan Noble. He loses arica early in the 3rd round and he got his reinforcements on round 4 for Dash RS. I drop Dash and finish Vader after losing Luke.
This game has really become a ton of fun to me and I can't wait to see what the VSET changes in the game. Go VONG!!!!

Well there are two, one of them happened on what we had called "Minis day" When the new sets came out, there was much rejoicing and high fives as the sets were opened up, an especially good one was the Clone Wars set when I opened the greatest General Grievous yet.
A second one is seeing the rebirth of a much more balanced and interesting game with these custom sets coming from the ashes of WOTC. Good job community especially to all those who worked so hard on the new set and map maker/jedi cartographer for the amazing locations.

My wife and I normally do a lot of traveling to other venues to meet and play with people in other locations. For our 1 year anniversary, she secretly organized getting people from 3 other states to come to our awesome venue and have a tournament here. Many of our friends were there, and a good time was had by all throughout the day. I had no idea everyone was going to be there, and it was great to see everyone and be able to introduce many new friends to each other. We played fun squads (read: non-competitive), and it was the most fun I've had playing minis.

Recently, when I rolled an 11 in a mini-tourney and was able to bring 70 points of fringe pieces into the game. Of course I didn't have them ready and wasted a big chunk of time, forfeiting the game for my own stupidity and lack of preparedness. Sorry Joe. :)
