If i use Rangefinder from my aqualish tech on Captain rex can i move rex by other means i.e. r2-d2 astromech droid or Captain Panaka and still get the +4 attack?
From the glossary as i read it you use rangefinder on adjacent guys and if they dont movethey get +4 attack, but it didn't say anything about swap or doombot.
Thanks in advance for the answer.

Rangefinder would be on Rex's turn; as long as he didn't move on his turn. Movement or swap on R2 and Panaka are on their turns. I would allow it.

Thanks in advance for the answer. Tow Cable is movement, swap CE's are not movement. That should answer your question, I hope.

1. You must be adjacent to the character to benefit from Rangefinder. 2. It would be to all attacks.

Sithborg wrote:1. You must be adjacent to the character to benefit from Rangefinder. 2. It would be to all attacks. The glossary is ambiguous (not sure if it's covered in the FAQ). When do you gain the benefit from Rangefinder - when you attack or when the Rangefinder character activates the special ability? It could work in either of these ways: 1. Character replaces attacks with Rangefinder and then gains the following effect for the rest of the round: Adjacent allies who do not move gain +4 Attack against non-adjacent enemies. 2. Character replaces attacks with Rangefinder and grants the following effect to all adjacent allies: For the rest of the round, this character gains +4 Attack against non-adjacent enemies this round. Swap is not movement. If it's #1, you could use Rangefinder, attack with adjacent character A, swap A with another character B, and then attack with B who would get the +4 from Rangefinder. If it's #2, you could use Rangefinder, swap adjacent character A with another character B, and then attack with A from another location while gaining the +4 from Rangefinder. Sithborg, from your response I'm not clear whether #1 or #2 is true.
