Thanks so much for sharing this story! I went through something similar in the mid-1980s with my ROTJ lunchbox at school. I guess things haven't changed in 25 years. Maybe spreading stories like this will begin a change on some level, with understanding and acceptance.

I think it's great that people are showing support for girls/women who like Star Wars. Not enough females like Star Wars, so I'm glad to see that she was shown full support of her interests.
